Dr. Dock Hollingsworth

Senior Pastor

Dock Hollingsworth joined Second-Ponce as Senior Pastor in 2013, following an 18-year career with Mercer University. Dock is married to Melissa who is a retired elementary school teacher who is now getting her “kid fix” by volunteering in the Kids’ Club children’s ministry. Dock and Melissa are the parents to adult twins, Haley and Brendan. Haley and her husband, Chris Clement are parents to Dock’s nearly perfect grandchildren, Cooper and Lucy. In addition to his love for being pastor of Second-Ponce, most weeks, Dock spends Saturdays with family and Thursday afternoons playing mediocre golf.

Rev. John Uldrick

Associate Pastor

A native of Clinton, South Carolina, Reverend John Uldrick joined the staff at Second-Ponce in April of 2022. John has served churches in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida for the last twenty-six years. For much of his career, he has served as a student minister and led missions programs. John’s strengths include being highly adaptable, connecting with others, communicating clearly, thinking systematically and leading with a positive attitude.  He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer, since 1997, and together they have two grown children, Charles (2000) and Annalise (2002). John’s hobbies include watching college football, playing golf, being a movie/television show critic and hiking.

Bill Gabbard

Minister of Music

Bill Gabbard has been a professional vocal musician for over thirty-eight years, the last thirty-one with The Soldiers’ Chorus of The United States Army Field Band of Washington, D.C.

Bill served his local church in Annapolis, Maryland, as a church officer, worship committee chair and adult choir director. For ten years, he has performed with “Brethren,” an acclaimed Washington, D.C-based men’s choral group.

Bill’s wife, Mary Lynn, is a proud native of Atlanta. They met in college at Mercer University where they were both members of the Mercer Singers. They are the parents of five and grateful grandparents of six. Their two oldest sons are currently serving as commissioned officers in the Navy and Army.

Rev. Jonathan Hall

Originally from North Carolina, Jonathan completed his undergraduate degree at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. When he is not spending time with his wife, Milligan—perhaps enjoying a meal together at one of Atlanta’s many delicious restaurants--you can find Jonathan listening to records from his collection, playing basketball with friends or making all kinds of art.
