Hello Parents,

I hope that you are off to a great week! Good news: the Ordination Council met yesterday ... and I passed! That means that this Sunday, the Ordination Service will in fact happen at 6 p.m. I hope that all of you who are able to attend will. So much of my call to ministry has been affirmed in your youth, and I appreciate you and them allowing me to become all of who God has called me to be with them as my first group. Thank you for supporting me and encouraging me along the way. It means more than you know!

The deadline to sign up for the Habitat for Humanity trip is this weekend. Please email me if your family plans on attending this day of mission work.

I just found out that I am going to be speaking this upcoming Wednesday Night. Therefore, the youth that normally participate in the Café please make plans to be in the Fellowship Hall this Wednesday, May 14.

Also, it was brought to my attention that the July 24-27 Biloxi mission trip dates had not been published. Here they are if you are making your plans for the summer. This will be an intense mission trip with lots of hard manual labor involved. If that is your youth's cup of tea, let me know.

Food this Sunday, May 18, will be provided by ...

   Dinner:  (No Core)

   05.18.08:  Ordination Service at 6 (Reception to follow immediately afterwards)
   05.18.08:  Deadline to register for Habitat for Humanity (June 14)
