Evening Edition Women's Bible Study
Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, April 1, the Evening Edition Women's Bible Study will begin their new five-week spring session on “All We Like Sheep” by Mary Glynn Peeples. Call Susan McKessy at 404.636.2277 for details.
WMU
The first Tuesday of each month, September through May, at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall
The WMU will host their regular luncheon meeting on Tuesday, May 6, with SPdL member and guest speaker Pendy Bailey at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Pendy was a part of the group that recently traveled to Chengdu, China, as part of the China Friendship Trip. Hear about her experiences -- from the Great Wall to the outer provinces -- first-hand, in what is sure to be an inspiring account. Lunch ($6) will follow at noon.
Lunch Encounter
The second Wednesday of each month, 12 p.m.-1 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall
Lunch Encounter is a monthly luncheon meeting for women with a motivational speaker. Its purpose is to provide a setting where women find friendship, intellectual stimulation and spiritual encouragement. Speakers come from diverse backgrounds and cover a variety of topics of interest to women -- both professionally andpersonally. Lunch Encounter meets on the second Wednesday of every month, with the exception of June, July, August and December. It is held in the Fellowship Hall of Second-Ponce de Leon, 12-1 p.m. Box lunches are available for $6 and can be ordered when you make your reservation. Free parking is available in the church parking lot in front of the Family Life Center. PLEASE NOTE: Lunch Encounter is taking a break right now. Please check back with us in September for information on our Fall 2008 series of speakers.
