Help Fight Hunger in Atlanta
Twice a year -- in January and July -- Buckhead Christian Ministry relies on a special effort by the members of Second-Ponce de Leon to collect canned goods and other necessary staples for their Food Pantry. And twice a year, the people of Second-Ponce de Leon always come through. There are many in Atlanta, young and old, men, women and children, here in our own community who face the reality of hunger because of financial setbacks and personal hardships. Your generosity through the organized efforts of BCM really does make a difference. Make the decision to help today by: 1) going to the grocery store and personally purchasing canned goods and other food staples; or 2) making a financial donation so that BCM can buy the groceries at a substantial savings (make your check payable to Second-Ponce de Leon or Buckhead Christian Ministry with "BCM food drive" in the memo line). Pick up BCM grocery lists in the North Bridge Lobby, at the Family Life Center, or in the downstairs lobby of the Children's Building. Bring groceries and other canned goods donations to the green collection bins at these sites.
