Pool

The Family Life Center swimming pool is 25 yards long. The depth is 3 1/2 feet at each end and 5 feet in the middle. Thirty-six laps equal one mile. The water quality, similar to “mineral spa water,” is maintained using an innovative saline chlorination system. The pool is not available for swimming and exercising during many scheduled classes, except where otherwise noted.

The Family Life Center pool is also used by the Dynamo Swim School and the Atlanta International School. During the times noted on the following schedules, certain pool lanes will be reserved for these swim programs.

New Partnership for Group Swim Lessons

We are proud to introduce another quality partnership, Dynamo Swim School, for professionally managed swim instruction. Founded in 1964, Dynamo is very proud of its swimmers' accomplishments. Dynamo swimmers have enjoyed success at every level of competitive swimming, including National Team Titles and World Ranked Times. Dynamo Swim School provides instruction for beginners as well as those just needing further development of their swimming techniques. The knowledge and experience of the coaching staff of Dynamo is combined with an educator's knowledge of children's physical and cognitive development. The result is Dynamo Swim School.
